A/Rt Weapon spells
Ok so i decided to make a new sin and make him rit 2ndry.
I will only use some weapon spells to help me, so my question is;
what ritualist weapon spells go well with a sin?
I have all campegins so getting the skills wont be a problem.
Also please no posts that say "Weapon spells on a sin are crap" or
"sins dont need to use 2ndry skills" or "a A/Rt is crap"
I was thinking of warmonger's weapon, vital weapon, weapon of aggression, weapon of shadow or nightmare weapon.
Thx a bunch

If you don't really know the answer: Don't bother. Concentrate on your own assassin skills until you are certain you need those.
Splinter Weapon is pretty awesome.

Nightmare Weapon- decent heal
Splinter Weapon- good AoE, better on a caster
Warmonger's Weapon- who needs a mesmer?
Weapon of Aggression- if you dont have critical agility for some reason
Brutal Weapon- +damage = good
Guided Weapon- unblockable is a good thing
Sundering Weapon- nice to be able to use cracked armor
Weapon of Shadow- one of my favorite skills in the game

you could attempt to take 2 weapon spells and alternate between use.
Weapon of shadow and something else, WoS when under fire, the something else for general purposes or for some other form of utility.
Although 1 weapon spell is probably less problematic
Also Don't forget Vital weapon Coloneh =P

Splinter Weapon ftw.
The effect is like Death Blossom, but you can use another elite skill.
The 5 energy and short recharge allows for a lot of flexibility.
...
Coloneh basically explained it all.

He means DB moebius, hes saying you can take another elite (not moebius).
He believes you take moebius so that you can spam your aoe.

Is this PvE? If so, DA and spikes are all but worthless. You want pressure, preverably AoE, and as little downtime as humanly possible. Critical Axe with the AoE attacks, Critical Scythe, and MBlossom are king in PvE. You'll stumble across an occasional Assassin's Promise build, though usually they're just a quick-recycling spike, and generally have little AoE.
But back on topic, for Rt secondary, you might want some of the afformentioned weapons spells, and maybe Death Pact Signet. Very occasionally you'll see some crap like Spirit Rift or Ancestor's Rage, but otherwise, I wouldn't venture to much into other Rit stuff.

Personally I would go /rt just for Death Pact signet.. it's godly, and if you carry a 30/-2 set you can rez anyone with basically full energy (great for a team under pressure and a monk has died, and for example if you a killing a boss and he's almost dead, and you just need that monk to come back and cast a couple of prots)

Im thinking hes talking about Weapon spells in pve.
Where monsters attack those with the lowest HP.
Its great to see the assassin attacking monsters, No monsters are attacking his huge 700 HP, while everyone else dies.
And the monks going, "why the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO can't you be like the assassin"

Ya you got what i was saying about Vital weapon.

I get that many other 2nd proff give nice AoE, but im not looking for AoE. I want to see how much dmg i can do to one target using weapon spells or like ancestor's rage, w/e else the rits have...
Also what about comboing a weapon spell and wielder's strike?
Ex. I have about 10 channeling, I use nightmare weapon, then use wielder's strike which with 10channeling, will do about 65 lightning dmg and then also the 3, 37hp steal from nightmare.
Wats your opinion bout that, since its kinda of a spike. I can quickly execute a spike with my dagger skills.

Look you've got it all wrong. Smart Sins don't spike in PvE. If you really wanna spike, stay in 'Sin (besides maybe Nightmare Wep or Ancestor's Rage), and bring Assassin's Promise. But seriously, it's not a very good idea, pressure's a lot better.
